March & April: Two Months Full of Magic

Some months just have a certain energy, and March and April were exactly that kind of months. Packed with experiences, encounters, and discoveries, they flew by in the best possible way.

It all kicked off with a first: giving a presentation at a breeding association, a milestone that felt both exciting and rewarding. From there, I headed to Denmark for a breeding and sport event, a wonderful opportunity to connect with the international equestrian community and soak up new impressions.
The following weekend brought Indoor Brabant, where memorable encounters made the event extra special. And speaking of memorable, March featured a truly remarkable interview with the legendary Paul Schockemöhle (on the photo with the Holsteiner bred stallion Diarado and me, photo made by Sanne Wiering), followed in April by an inspiring conversation with Wiebe Yde van de Lageweg.

Two very different personalities, both with so much to share.

In between, I attended several stallion shows. The direct contact with breeders is something I always treasure, those conversations are where the real stories live.
One of the most heartfelt projects of these months was creating a pedigree research for a dear friend, tracing the lineage of her horse with photos and information on the sire, dam, granddam, and beyond. A labour of love, and so worth every detail.
There were also wonderful events in the world of equestrian media and marketing: the press day at Iconic Studios and the workshop "Aufsatteln im Online-Marketing" organised by E-Horses, both genuinely inspiring and full of great ideas to take forward.
And then, as a wonderful cherry on top: thanks to three very special people, a collection of extraordinary breeding books is finding its way to me, along with a bigger bookcase to house them. Some gifts just speak straight to the heart.
March and April, you were something else entirely. Here's to everything still to come. 🐴
