HARM THORMÄHLEN - Ein Leben für die Springpferdezucht -
Aus dem Holsteiner Marschland in die Welt
Publication in Early December
In early December, the book I wrote about Harm Thormählen will be published.
This project has been a fascinating three-year journey through the world of breeding led by one of the most renowned showjumping breeders in the world.
Along the way, I gained an even deeper understanding of the mare family behind my own mare, L-Texas (Stamm 173) — who, to my great sadness, passed away this summer.
I had the privilege of holding truly inspiring conversations with people who have been close to Harm throughout his life and career. Harm was not only an exceptional breeder; he was also part of Alwin Schockemöhle’s school, alongside riders such as Gerd Wiltfang, Franke Sloothaak, Thomas Frühmann, Ulrich Kirchhoff, and Dutchman Johan Heins.
He possesses a rare combination of vision for sport, breeding, and trade — a true horseman in every sense.
The German edition will be released first, followed by an English edition.
